I took over this spot from Willie Gall, who produced a daily single panel cartoon for 50 years before retiring in 2005.
The single panel cartoon is a similar process to, but a different discipline from, the comic strip. There are no regular characters or scenarios so I'm free to take real flights of fancy and stretch the bounds of probability to breaking point.
In 2007 and 2008 this work was nominated for the National Cartoonists Society awards (Newspaper Panel category).
